The race is very open now, three best riders have either lost time or are out. There will be shenanigans.

Wonder how much the pre start crash affected Thomas today. Looks like Yatesy had a bad day too losing 4/5 minutes to the leaders.

Still there is always James Knox worth following from now on.

wd40 1:00 - That's interesting.
I've watched the tour every year since it started 30 odd years ago and is probably the one thing I'll always watch.

One of the things that always gets me is the usual 'They're on drugs' line from mates or football fans or it's shit, it's not even a sport but to me football is like WWE now, just entertainment, barely that sometimes.
Footballers cheat, feign injuries, roll around on the floor if someone barely touches them whereas cyclists crash, get cut up, break bones yet get back on the bike and cycle 100KM till the finish.
Most races are grueling yet they want to continue.

David Miller usally calls it right though out most races which find by me .
Also been to some talks with Ned hearing him say once he fell in love with cycling and its characters
after falling out loving football and getting disappointed with it all brings these days.

The highlights are on QUEST so I wonder who will be doing that?

Re: WHO Fantasy Tour de France 2020
Think the Giro is it.on Eurosport so we'll have to tolerate the monotone Sean Kelly and the Partridge-eaque Carlton Kirby.

Enjoy Millar, big improvement on Sean Kelly.

Vexed 12:12 - Aye pet, am looking forward to it, really enjoyed the TdF, seemed like life was back to normal for a bit.

Just read your previous post
'Millar is growing on me. His pseudo intellectual bollocks gets a bit tiresome after a while though.'

I thought it was just me that got annoyed, when he spoke.
I'm trying to ignore him but he seems to know everything about everything!

Roglic will have thrown himself off a cliff before then, quite rightly too. That time trial has probably finished him.

I like Ned. I've read all but one of his books and been to two of his live shows. He's a bit chippy but has softened up over the years. The TDF podcast is fun, especially with Pete Kennaugh crashing into it like a Labrador puppy.

The other podcast is a little more cerebral and goes off at tangents into philosophy and astrophysics or whatever else is on the boys' minds. But they're both well-read so it's not as bad as it sounds from the outside.

Ned Boulting is meant to be commentating on the American feed for the Giro but that's only a week away.

Meanwhile the Jumbo trio of Rog, Dumi and Kuss have been selected for la Vuelta.

Re: WHO Fantasy Tour de France 2020
Millar is growing on me. His pseudo intellectual bollocks gets a bit tiresome after a while though. He had a few more stories about stupid shit that went on in the peloton when he was riding this year, no doubt encouraged by Kennaugh who is clearly an absolute loose cannon.

Ned gets almost every bunch sprint wrong, calling out the wrong rider multiple times, the plum. You cant help but like the bloke though.
